Former loadmaster, tester to be inducted into hall of fame

Retired Master Sgt. Theodore Venturini will be inducted into the Airlift Tanker Association Hall of Fame Oct. 31. He is one of six C-17A Pathfinder Loadmasters that will be honored at an Air Mobility Command and ATA Symposium at the Orlando World Center Marriot in Florida.

Local artist revisits lost artwork after more than two decades

Shortly after a 23-year-old comic book-style mural was discovered during renovation in Dorm 2424, the artist was found to be living in the local Antelope Valley area. The artist, Gregory Wilson, was notified by a friend about the story of the art discovery, which was posted to the Edwards AFB website and in the Desert Wings newspaper.
