U.S. Army Pvt. Maynor E. Castillo has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Castillo is the son of Sandra Castillo and Maynor G. Castillo, both of Lancaster, Calif.
He is a 2015 graduate of Antelope Valley High School, Lancaster, Calif.
 
U.S. Army Reserve Pvt. Juan Quezada Jr. has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
He is a 2015 graduate of Littlerock High School, Littlerock, Calif.
 
U.S. Army Pvt. James W. Bono IV has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Bono is the son of James W. Bono of Palmdale, Calif.
He is a 2015 graduate of Highland High School, Palmdale, Calif.
