Palmdale sailor samples fuel serving aboard USS Roosevelt

ATLANTIC OCEAN–Gas Turbine Systems Technician 2rd Class David Hancock, from Palmdale, Calif., samples fuel on the aft missile deck aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS). Roosevelt is underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in preparation for a future deployment.
