PHILIPPINE SEA–Operations Specialist 1st Class Eric Moreno, from Palmdale, Calif., directs aircraft from the combat information center aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104). Sterett, assigned to the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, is on a scheduled deployment in the Indo-Pacific region to support training under the U.S. Pacific Fleet’s Up-Gunned ESG concept and to serve as a forward multi-mission asset for any type of contingency.
