Researchers at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center conducted ground vibration testing on the X-56A flex wing, at the center’s Flight Loads Laboratory. Data collected from the impact testing includes Fiber Optic Sensing System information, photogrammetry, flight accelerometers and ground vibration accelerometers.
