Unsung Hero Awards

Lazar presents Jerry Aulds, J&J Worldwide Services, with the Unsung Hero Award for support in the safe transportation of weapons and energetics to and from NAWS China Lake. “You have established a flawless safety record in a very unforgiving environment. Outstanding initiative and an exceptionally high degree of professional excellence is evident in the performance of your daily duties,” reads part of the citation.

Lazar presents ABH1 Jose R. Ruizcalderon with the Unsung Hero Award for contributions he made to the NAWS China Lake Air Operations Department, Flight Support Division. “You have performed magnificently in leading the Flight Support Division , managing the air terminal, and providing training for eighteen personnel under your tutelage,” reads part of the citation.

Lazar presents AC3 Eva A. Jache with the Unsung Hero Award for her contributions to the NAWS China Lake Air Operations Department, and her participation as a member of the NAWS Honor Guard. “You have qualified as a Flight Planning Supervisor and Ground Controller in record time, surpassing expectations and contributing significantly to mission readiness,” reads part of the citation.
