Hobbies: Baking, camping, watching movies, reading books, and shooting guns

Selection Reasons: Currently as a full-time student, Sergeant Lemoine volunteered to manage squadron recalls for all ORE’s and the ORI which involved arriving in the workcenter at 4 a.m. She overcame a significant back injury to get back on flying-status and completed all of her training while keeping a stellar attitude. Additionally, Sergeant Lemoine stepped up in many First Sergeant roles in the temporary absence of the diamond wearer and mentored junior Airmen.

 

Airman 1st Class Nathan Stephenson, 612 AOC

Duty Title: Personnel Recovery Control Center (PRCC) Controller

When joined the Air Force: May 2011

Hometown: Bryson, TX

Hobbies: Extreme action sports. Freestyle wood skiing, motocross, road racing street bikes (on a controlled  track). He also enjoys hunting and does sports video editing.

Selection Reasons: -  Airman Stephenson has been a hard charger since arriving at Davis-Monthan. He scored an average of 98% on Mission Qualification, AOC school, Career Development Course and USSOUTHCOM Familiarization Course tests respectively. He has been appointed to the position of PRCC website manager, blood chit manager, EVC manager, and equipment custodian in which he is responsible for $150,000 in equipment. All of these positions have previously been appointed to an NCO, yet he has performed flawlessly as an Airman. Airman Stephenson is self-motivated and goes out of his way to seek information and improve his knowledge/skills.

-  Airman Stephenson consistently supports the community. He volunteered 60 hours coaching a team of 12 children for the D-M youth center league. He contributed 8 hours to the 12 AF Outstanding Performers of the Year fundraising committee. His actions raised $3,000 to off-set travel expenses for 7 award winners. Airman Stephenson is the division representative and the ways and means chair for the AOC booster club. He single-handedly raised $100 of the $340 total earned during the last booster club fundraiser. He also participated in an Army golf tournament which raised $1,143.
