Kirby Chambliss is the former Red Bull Air Race World Champion. Named one of the top 15 aerobatic pilots in the country, Chambliss was invited to compete in the first Red Bull Air Race events held in the early 2000s. To date, Chambliss is a five-time U.S. National Aerobatic Champion (FAI World Aerobatic Championships, bronze & team bronze in 2005, silver and bronze in 2003, bronze and team silver in 1998).
His team includes Jason Resop and John Hanlon. Resop is now in his 7th year working alongside Chambliss in his current position of crew chief and ferry pilot. Hanlon provides support as a Technician and Aircraft Inspector for the Team Chambliss fleet of airplanes.
