The Airmen of the base honor guard work on their technique and sharpen their skills on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., July 24.

Airmen from the base honor guard remove a flag from a casket and then go on to fold it. This process is one of the daily routines the honor guard performs at the beginning of the day.

Airman 1st Class Emmett Burley, base honor guard, leads the daily open ranks July 24. Honor guard members perform open ranks every morning before they begin training.
