Selection Reasons: Airman Pabon is a true “Wingman”! After discovering that a fellow Airman was in emotional distress, she immediately made face to face contact with him opening up communication channels. Due to the amount of stress her friend was under, and even though he downplayed his issues, Airman Pabon still ensured her leadership was aware and contacted her First Sergeant to ensure proper oversight/care was given to the troubled Airman. Her actions set the example and the Airman in need successfully addressed his issues again being productive. Watch out for your Wingmen and take action to engage and let them know people care!

Selection Reasons: Airman Faasavalu is an absolute subject matter expert in all matters regarding the separation/discharge of Airmen. She is a consummate military professional and treats all customers with respect. If Airman Faasavalu does not know an answer, she aggressively attacks finding it and gives accurate responses…every time! Airman Faasavalu is a terrific singer and has been hand-picked to perform the National Anthem at major events to include the recent Mission Support Group Change of Command. She also recently went TDY to Texas to participate in a competition with the Air Force “Tops In Blue” where her singing, dancing, and musical talents were displayed.  Totally involved Airman!

Hobbies: Shooting and collecting guns, rock climbing, and “beginner” carpenter.

Selection Reasons: Sergeant Dryden led the squadron in recent deployment, ensuring $4M in supplies were prepared in support of the Global Response Force. Sergeant Dryden also devoted personal time to meet with a potential new member of the Air Force, sharing some of the details of his job and Air Force life in general. His actions motivated the individual to a new career and inspired his family as well. Sergeant Dryden continually performs above his pay grade and tackles any challenge thrown at him. He regularly devotes time in the Tucson community and exudes overwhelming pride in the Pararescue career field.
