Study references available for 2013 promotion cycle

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas — The Air Force has begun its 43rd year of enlisted promotion test production.

During the 2012 promotion cycle, 240 unique promotion tests were administered to support the Weighted Airman Promotion System and the U.S. Air Force Senior NCO Promotion System.

“Today’s Air Force continues to write fair, valid, credible, and relevant promotion tests,” said Mr. Dwayne Hafer, the Air Force’s promotion test development expert. “This year, 105,461 Airman tested for promotion. We anticipate similar numbers for the upcoming 2013 testing cycle which begins this December.”
