Job title: Weather Forecaster

Job description: Provide military weather support by issuing watches, warnings and advisories for over 30 locations throughout Southwest CONUS. Writing Terminal Aerodrome weather forecasts for nine AF and Army installations, as well as generating Military Operation area forecasts for two military ranges.

Most rewarding job aspect: Having a direct effect on operations and protection of AF resources.

Goals: I want to use the opportunity to travel and get my education while in the AF.

Hobbies: Running, hiking, shooting and outdoor activities. I’m also a big fan of MLB and the NHL.

Favorite performer: Led Zeppelin

Favorite dish: Ravioli

I’m proudest of: My ability to serve my country.

Best asset: Ability to learn quickly and adapt.

Person I admire most: My father.

Pet peeve: Lazy people.

What I like most about D-M: I love the area that D-M is in. There are a lot of opportunities in Tucson to do outdoor activities. Living around the mountains and in the desert is a lot different from the Michigan landscape. It’s a nice experience.
