Operation COPE to be held in October

355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs

Deployments can be an adjustment for Airmen and their families so to assist with the transition, D-M is scheduled to hold Operation COPE here Oct. 26-28.

COPE stands for connect, organize, provide and educate. The event is a retreat to honor deploying Airmen and their families. It helps to foster both healthy separation and reintegration through social activities and marriage enrichment education.

It is slated to be held at the JW MarriottStarrPass Resort and Spa. The cost per family is $100 for enlisted members and $150 for officers.

Attendees can enjoy a luxury resort, activities such as a family carnival, couples “date night”, children’s activity club and much more.

The guest speaker will be Dr. John Trent Ph.D, author of “The Blessing”.

Registration will be held Oct. 2-4.

If you have any questions, or to register, contact the Chapel at 228-5411.
