355th Dental Squadron

The 355th Dental Squadron sees about seven thousand patients a year. They cover everything from annual dental exams to periodontal surgeries.

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Samuel Brown, 355th Dental Squadron lab technician, works on waxing a tooth. The lab makes more than twenty crowns and thirty nightguards per month.

U.S. Air Force Capt. Kun-Jang Chang, 355th Dental Squadron chief of periodontics, reviews a cone beam Computerized Tomography scan for implant surgical treatment. The dental clinic can perform these types of procedures using state of the art equipment to ensure the highest quality of treatment for patients.

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Nicole Loughman, 355th Dental Squadron, noncommissioned officer in charge of infection control, puts together a sterile dental tool kit. Loughman makes sure all instruments that are used in the medical group are sterile and ready for any procedure.
