Hobbies: Volunteer firefighter, snowboarding, skydiving, rock climbing, hiking, shooting, photo editing, and car repair. He aspires to be a FDNY Fire Fighter and is currently waiting on results of his FDNY examination.

Selection Reasons: During his first three months in operations, Airman Delcore issued 154 weather alerts with an impressive 85% verification rate, 10% above the squadron average. In addition, he completed a supervision and management course, leaving him only three credit hours away from CCAF completion. Airman Delcore also earned North Flight’s Forecaster of the Month for August!
Airman Delcore was selected to participate in his hometown of New York City “Wounded Warrior” Ceremony, displaying impeccable military image and honoring the service and dedication of military veterans and their families. He also volunteered 13 hours at the DMAFB airshow, helping the squadron booster club earn $4.5K.

Hobbies: Sound engineering, music production, weight lifting and golfing.
Selection Reasons: Airman Munch not only does his primary job well but goes above and beyond with additional duties and community support. As an Aviation Resource Manager, he tracks 156 aircrew member’s training requirements ensuring 100% on-time reporting to the AOR. As the Facility Manager he created a tracker for the Wing CC which aided in the 30% reduction goal for custodial contracts, saving the ECG $133K. He created a fire protection OI, found two flammable cabinets, updated the squadron building layout map guaranteeing the safety of our $7M facility. Airman Munch is always there to help out other offices when needed. He researched heart rate monitors for our UFPM, coordinated the $600 purchase ensuring all personnel would have accurate fitness assessments. He assisted the Biometrics department at Ft. Huachuca by programming 10 of their Army computers. He’s volunteered for set up/ breakdown of numerous retirement ceremonies/change of commands. Most recently, Airman Munch helped out the 42nd by managing the ops desk for 2 weeks gapping a critical manning shortfall. Airman Munch is truly Diamond Sharp.
