Managing Stress and Avoiding the Holiday Blues

Discussion topics will include recognizing stress, defining your holiday expectations, coping with disappointment, avoiding the holiday blues, and strategies for managing holiday stress and maintaining balance. EFMP Youth Bowling Event
Dec. 15, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – D-M Lanes Bowling Center
Youth Programs is partnering with EFMP to offer a free special event. This is open to military-affiliated youth with special needs, ages 5-18. Family members (siblings and parents) can also participate. Space is limited. Call 228-5690 to sign up.

EFMP Annual Holiday Party
Dec. 18, 5-7 p.m. – Desert Dove Chapel
This is our most popular event of the year! Bring a potluck dish to share, and get ready for food, fun and friendship. We will have bingo and door prizes. We may even have a special guest from the North Pole! Parents are asked to bring a small gift for their children, labeled and wrapped. All families with special needs are welcome, along with neighbors, co-workers, respite providers and others you’d like to invite. Please sign up by Dec. 14. For more information, call 228-5690.

Culture of Responsible Choices Holiday Play
Dec. 7, 1-3 p.m. – Base Theater
Please join us at the Base Theater to partake in the 2012 Culture of Responsible Choices sponsored Holiday Play. This is a compilation of skits from various organizations on base to include the Chief’s Group, DMAFB 1st Sergeants, DLT 1st Six, Security Forces Squadron, and the Dental Squadron. This is a family fun, free event where Santa will make an appearance, snacks are free, and pictures will be available after the play. Please contact Tech. Sgt.
