First Sergeant: Master Sgt. George Poppe
Duty Title: NCOIC, Network Infrastructure
When joined the AF: May 1998
Hometown: Fort Worth, TX
Hobbies: Exercise, spending time with family
Selection Reasons: Tech. Sgt. Spoon performs at a level far beyond that of most of our DLT Technical Sergeants. He has assumed a leadership position normally reserved for a SNCO. In addition, he led his and another duty section during the Making Strides for Cancer Walk (raising $1600), and he created a master station log for continuity of work orders, trouble tickets, functional POCs, and network infrastructure projects, which streamlined work order processing. These initiatives cut work order turnaround in half. He is a valued member of the 355 CS Booster Club for which he single handily created the programs for holiday party. Along with helping the base setup Starry Snowy Southwestern night event.

Name/Squadron: Airman 1st Class Conner J. Proctor /355 AMXS
First Sergeant: Master Sgt. Shulski, Master Sgt. Allyn
Duty Title: Avionics Systems Journeyman
When Joined the AF: Aug. 19, 2010

Selection Reasons: Airman Proctor was a key formation member in the 355th Maintenance Group Change of Command, the 355th Wing Change of Command and the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base retreat ceremony. His professionalism upheld a long Air Force tradition of recognizing career milestones and bolstering esprit de corps.
Airman Proctor volunteered over 20 hours to the Airmen Against Drunk Driving program. His concern for the welfare of his fellow Airmen provided safe transportation and prevented seven potential DUIs. Airman Proctor epitomized the Air Force’s “Wingman” concept.
Airman Proctor adheres to a strict “fix it right” maintenance discipline, achieving a 100% Quality Assurance pass rate on three personal evaluations and four quality verification inspections. His commitment to excellence ensures the production of safe aircraft for effective pilot training.
