Christmas Tree Recycling
Recycle your Christmas trees at the Golf Links Sports Park. North West corner of Golf Links and Craycroft Roads from Dec. 26 – Jan. 6. DO NOT TAKE TO BASE RECYCLING CENTER.

EFMP Youth Bowling Event
Dec. 15, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – D-M Lanes Bowling Center

Youth Programs is partnering with EFMP to offer a free special event. This is open to military-affiliated youth with special needs, ages 5-18. Family members (siblings and parents) can also participate. Space is limited. Call 228-5690 to sign up.

Hearts Apart Cocoa and Cookies with Santa

EFMP Annual Holiday Party
Dec. 18, 5-7 p.m. – Desert Dove Chapel

Our most festive event of the year! Enjoy potluck dishes, fun and friendship. We will have bingo, door prizes, and a special guest from the North Pole! Parents bring a small gift for their children, labeled and wrapped. All families with special needs are welcome, along with neighbors, co-workers, respite providers and others you’d like to invite. Southern Arizona to host annual train show
Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 – SAVAHCS

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) will host the Tucson Garden Railway Society of Tucson during the holiday season. Numerous operational train displays will be set-up in the R.E. Lindsey Jr. Auditorium, Building 4 for patient, employees, volunteers, families, children, and especially the young at heart. The train show will be held Thursday, Dec. 27 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 28 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the viewing public. The show will feature the earliest model trains to modern trains running on our Nation’s tracks today.
