Independence Day Celebration 2013

Senior Airman Timothy Moore 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs

An Independence Day Celebration was held at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, July 4. The event included private organization booths, games for families and a performance by the Desert Cadillac Band. A 25-minute firework display ended the celebration.

 

A family waits in line to buy mementos from the DMAFB Top 3 during the Independence Day Celebration. Several organizations set up tents and provided products and services for members of the Desert Lightning Team.

The Desert Cadillac Band plays a song at the Independence Day Celebration. The band covers rock songs and has been playing since 1984.

Chief Master Sgt. Timothy Ross, 355th Equipment Maintenance Squadron first sergeant, prepares cotton candy for patrons of the Independence Day Celebration. The celebration was held at Bama Park here, and culminated in a 25-minute fireworks display.

Senior Airman Jeffery Jordan, 755th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, throws a ball at one of the booths at the Independence Day Celebration. The event had several booths and games to entertain members of the Desert Lightning Team.
