Airman 1st Class John Cadaing, 355th Component Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion journeyman, is helped into an engine by Airman 1st Class Chris Tucker, 355th CMS aerospace propulsion journeyman, to check blades inside the engine for discrepancies. The engine has multiple components that can be damaged by small objects that get sucked into the engine.

Senior Airman Guy Kopp, 355th Component Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion journeyman, replaces a component in an engine. After engines are fixed, they are run outside the aircraft to make sure they function properly and nothing else needs to be replaced.

Airman 1st Class Michael Allison, 355th Component Maintenance Squadron Aircrew egress systems apprentice, works on an A-10 Thunderbolt II ejection seat. Every seat undergoes routine inspections to make sure all the equipment needed for ejection is up to date.

Senior Airman Ashleigh Smith, 355th Component Maintenance Squadron fuel systems apprentice, removes the cover off an A-10 Thunderbolt II fuel tank. The A-10 has foam inside the tank to prevent gas vapors from exploding when in combat.
