Crew chiefs from the 923rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief guide a blade from an HH-60G Pave Hawk onto a stand. For easy transport and storage, the Pave Hawks are equipped with folding rotor blades.

Airmen from the 923rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron remove a gear box from a HH-60G Pave Hawk. The gear box must be replaced to ensure pilots receive accurate information from the sensors within.

The 923rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron is responsible for the maintenance that keeps the HC-130J Combat King II and HH-60G Pave Hawk aircraft operational and ready for the 79th Rescue Squadron and the 55th RQS. The 923rd AMXS is a tenant from the 23rd Wing at Moody Air Force Base, Ga.
