Selection Reasons:  

Airman 1st Class Litchfield completed her CDC’s and all 5-level training requirements 8 months ahead of requirements. She also earned top qualification with zero downgrades during her initial flight evaluation. Airman Litchfield has also served as a role player for the Department of Homeland Defense, and served as a science fair judge at a local middle school. She has completed 12 college credit hours toward her CCAF and scored an “Excellent” on all AF PT tests. Airman Litchfield is a totally involved professional!

SELECTION REASONS:  

Senior Airman Merry was hand selected as a Davis-Monthan Ceremonial Guardsmen, Airman In Charge for 34 official ceremonies and public events throughout the Southern Arizona area. His commitment to excellence garnered him the honor of performing as a member of the Honor Cordon for the South American Air Chief.  As a C-130 Isochronal Support technician, Airman Merry has streamlined and improved three flight programs. His attention to detail enabled him to identify and correct Hazardous Material program deficiencies, ensuring safety of personnel and compliance of AFI and OSHA directives.

As a subject matter expert, Airman Merry was also chosen to receive the A+ certification course training to become the Functional System Administrator for 355 EMS. His newly acquired skills will relieve workload from the 355 MXG Quality Assurance Electronic Technical Order Management Office and ensure aircraft maintenance for 4 mission design series are unabated.  Furthermore, Airman Merry scored a 96.6 percent on his latest fitness exam, setting the bar for his peers to follow. He truly personifies what it means to be Diamond Sharp!
