D-M Gate hours changed

The Davis Monthan Gate hours changed Jan. 20 as a result of a recent traffic survey.

The schedule is as follows:

Craycroft – no change (24/7, 365 days)

Swan – 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. (M-F), closed on weekends and federal holidays (This

includes the search area as well)

Wilmot – 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. (M-F), closed on weekends and Federal holidays

29B – 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. (M-F) and 0800-1200 (weekends), closed on federal holidays

Irvington – 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (winter hrs M-F) and 4: 30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (summer hrs M-F),

closed on weekends and federal holidays.

Society of Military Widows to meet

Feb. 15, noon – Mirage Club

The Society of Military Widows luncheon and meeting will be held at noon, Feb. 15 at the Mirage Club. For informations and reservations, please call Kay Spargur 574-6628 at least 10 days before the luncheon date.

OSC Scholarship Applications are Available

Every year the DMOSC offers thousands of dollars in scholarships for military dependents who are high school seniors preparing to attend college and who are spouses starting or continuing their college education. The Scholarship Applications are Now Available at http://www.dmosc.org/scholarships.html Deadline for application is March 14.

Retired Officers’ Spouses Club

Feb. 6, 11 a.m. – The Hilton Hotel

The Tucson Retired Officers’ Spouses Club will hold its monthly luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 6 at The Hilton Hotel, 7600 E. Broadway Blvd., located on the south side of Broadway, between Kolb Rd. and Pantano Rd. Social hour begins at 11 a.m., with lunch served at noon. Guest speaker is Bernice Anderson, from the Tucson Rodeo Parade and Museum Committee. Western wear is encouraged. The price of the luncheon is $22, cash only please. Reservations and meal and dessert choices are due by noon Monday, Feb. 3 by calling Jane Herron, 886-4037, Joan Fitzsimmons, 577-8750, Elaine Sanders, 721-7387, or Shirley Rounds, 721-1995.

Stay and Play

Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. – Desert Dove Chapel

This is a new program for parents and children ages birth to five years. Features open play-time, parent-child activities, circle time, parenting support and education. Registration is not required. For more information, call 321-1500.

Money on the Road Program

Money on the Road is an Airman & Family Readiness program designed to bring financial readiness/counseling TO YOUR unit! Our counselors can teach classes and be available for one-on-one counseling or to answer general questions. We tailor our visit to your unit specific needs. You provide a temporary location for us and we provide efficient financial counseling services. If your unit is interested in our Money on the Road program, please call us at 228-5690.
