Pat’s Run Troop Run registration ends March 31

April 26, Benko Fitness Center

The ruck/walk/run will begin at the Benko Fitness Center is scheduled for April 26 and will be approximately 4.2 miles long. This event can be enjoyed by all family members! Cost of adults is $20 and children under 12 is $5. Deadline to register for this event is March 31. A representative will be at the D-M Exchange on March 24 and March 28 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to assist with registrations. The Pat’s Run benefits the Pat Tillman Foundation. A shirt will be provided upon registration. All registrants will be notified of time and location to pick up their shirts. Leaders Are Readers Book Club

Are you looking for some mentorship and development? Do you like to read? Then Leaders are Readers is for you! Our purpose is to enhance the professional growth of all Desert Lighting Team members through reading and mentoring. Leaders are Readers discuss leadership novels from the CSAF Reading List as well as other insightful novels. We meet twice a month and have meaningful discussions on key leadership concepts and experiences. All ranks are welcomed! This is a great opportunity to hear what your superiors and subordinates have to say. To improve yourself please join us at one of our sessions! We would love to hear from you! Retired Officers’ Spouses Club to meet

April 3, 11 a.m. – Relish Kitchen and Wine Bar

The Tucson Retired Officers’ Spouses Club will hold its next monthly luncheon on Thursday, April 3 at Relish Kitchen and Wine Bar, 4660 East Camp Lowell Dr., on the southwest corner of Swan Rd. and Camp Lowell Dr. Special guest speaker is Sue Lemmon, from the Pima Council on Aging, who will be speaking on the topic of “Medicare Fraud and You.” Social hour begins at 11 a.m., with lunch served at noon. The price of the luncheon is $20. Reservations and entrée choice are due by noon Monday, Mar. 31, by calling Carol Lowe at 323-7638. Any spouse or widow of a retired military officer is invited to join the Tucson ROSC. There are no membership dues. For more information, please call ROSC Chairperson Rita Dennis at 577-1741.
