Selection Reasons:  

Airman Nail was handpicked to participate in a two part development and operational testing exercise of the United States Marine Corps new joint Command and Control system. She performed all functions normally provided by five organizations, providing critical mission planning and execution documents for major combat operations, to include planning 8,600 air missions.  In addition, her system expertise enabled her to identify data consistencies and interoperability issues with other joint systems, resulting in the successful fielding of the system on time. Airman Nail also instructed 40 hours of positional training on 26 critical mission planning tasks with a new trainee. Finally, she revised three checklists and training documents along with performing exceptionally as the Air Tasking Order Production team’s scheduler.
