48th RQS Rescue Training at the Titan Missile Museum

A pararescueman from the 48th Rescue Squadron walks across the cableway at Titan Missile Museum. The unique layout of the museum allowed the 48th RQS to conduct high angle, confined space training throughout eight levels of an underground missile silo.

The 48th Rescue Squadron utilized the unique layout of the Titan Missile Museum in Green Valley to conduct high angle and confined space rescue training April 17.

A 48th Rescue Squadron pararescueman guides a simulated casualty as he is being hoisted up through a confined space during the training exercise. The training required a pararescueman to be lowered into a confined space and extract another pararescueman who was acting as an incapacitated casualty.
