Attack Fitness Competition

Competitors tag the fence as they complete a one-mile timed run during the Attack Fitness Competition here May 3. The competition consisted of four different workouts that combined both cardio and strength movements, with the top competitors completing two final workouts to determine the winner. The event was hosted by CrossFit Desert Lightning, the CrossFit affiliate on the base, and was free for military and anyone with base access to observe or participate

Airman Cody Leach, 357th Aircraft Maintenance Unit maintainer, pushes a weighted sled while other competitors and judges cheer him on during the Attack Fitness Competition. Leach went on to claim third place in the competition overall. The event was hosted by CrossFit Desert Lightning, the CrossFit affiliate on the base, and was free for military and anyone with base access to observe or participate.
