Selection Reasons:  Airman 1st Class Schuman was hand-selected as the 55 ECG Advanced Programs Information Assurance Officer. He immediately reorganized the program in preparation for the ACC IG inspection team. His leadership and dedication led to the rare rating of “Commendable”. In addition, he was lauded by the ACC IG as an “Outstanding Contributor” and was recognized by the 55 Wing Commander for his efforts. Airman Schuman instructed 80 COMSEC classes for 398 members, which educated the individuals on security procedures. He has also maintained six classified workstations, audited 130K records and archived three gigs of data, ensuring data integrity. Airman Schuman maintains an “Excellent” rating on the AF PT test, has completed 112 credit hours towards his Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice/Criminology. He coordinated a souvenir booth for the DMAFB Air Show raising over $3200 across three days. Airman Schuman also represented the 55 ECG Airmen during a morale feedback session with the 355 Wing Command Chief.  He also volunteers as a basketball coach for underprivileged youth in Tucson. A talented Airman with a Bright future!
