Comedy Show at the Mirage Club

On June 13 the Mirage Club will host “Wingman Comedy Show” for DM Airmen, the comedian will be Damon Williams. This event will be adults only ages 18 and up, Airmen E-1 to E-4 $8 and E-5 and up $15. This will include Horsd’oevurs and autograph signing. Social hour would be from 7-8:45pm.  The comedy show is from 9-10:30 p.m.  After the show there will be an after party with DJ Ron until 1am

NARFE Chapter 1874 meeting

June 16, 11:30 a.m. – GoldenCorral

Current and retired Federal employees, spouses, guests, and visitors are invited to join NARFE Chapter 1874 at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 6865 N. Thornydale Dr.  The June meeting will be June 16. (Senior menu $7.95)  Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m.  The meeting will be noon-1 p.m. Contact Rosie King at 520-400-3456 for more information.

Society of Military Widows to meet

June 21, noon – The Mirage Cub

The Ladies of the Society of Military Widows will have their monthly luncheon at noon, Saturday, June 21, at the Mirage club at D.M. Air Force Base. For information and your reservations, please call 574-6628 at least 10 days prior to the date of the luncheon.

Stay and Play

Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. – Youth Center instruction room

This is a new program for parents and children ages birth to five years. Features open play-time, parent-child activities, circle time, parenting support and education. Registration is not required. For more information, call 321-1500.

Money on the Road Program

Money on the Road is an Airman & Family Readiness program designed to bring financial readiness/counseling TO YOUR unit! Our counselors can teach classes and be available for one-on-one counseling or to answer general questions. We tailor our visit to your unit specific needs. You provide a temporary location for us and we provide efficient financial counseling services. If your unit is interested in our Money on the Road program, please call us at 228-5690.

Volunteering is an excellent way to become involved with the community, increase mentorship skills and enhance career growth.
