The 355th Force Support Squadron would like to invite all Active Duty and Department of Defense personnel to join the intramural sports program.

The intramural sports program is an organized sports competition designed to meet the needs of all personnel beginning at the lowest levels. Active duty personnel have priority in all programs as determined by each unit commander.

“This program is really to help camaraderie and build morale around the base,” said Tech. Sgt. Liam Gannon, 355th Force Support Squadron sports director. “It’s a good way relieve the unwanted stressors that affect us in our military lives.”

During the sports seasons, different squadrons get their players together and those individuals enter the league as a team. Teams enter under their squadron name and each squadron can submit up to two teams depending on their size.

Last year, more than 30 teams from squadrons all over D-M participated in the intramural sports program.

“I played football last year and though we didn’t win, it was still a lot of fun,” said Senior Airman Dominique Stanley, 612th Air and Space Operations Center tactical data link manager.
