NARFE to meet

Current and retired Federal employees, spouses, guests, and visitors are invited to join NARFE Chapter 1874 at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 6865 N. Thornydale Dr. The August meeting will be on Monday, August 18. (Senior menu $7.95) Lunch starts at 11:30 am. The topic this month: Recent Alzheimer’s research. Retired Officers’ Spouses Club
Sept. 4, 11 a.m. – Radisson Suites Tucson
The Tucson Retired Officers’ Spouses Club will hold its first luncheon of the season on Thursday, Sept. 4 at Radisson Suites Tucson, 6555 E. Speedway Blvd., located just east of Wilmot Rd.. The luncheon will be held in the private dining room on the east end of the building. Social hour begins at 11 a.m., with lunch served at noon. The price of the luncheon is $22. Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. – Youth Center instruction room
This is a new program for parents and children ages birth to five years. Features open play-time, parent-child activities, circle time, parenting support and education. Registration is not required. For more information, call 321-1500.
Money on the Road Program
Money on the Road is an Airman & Family Readiness program designed to bring financial readiness/counseling TO YOUR unit! Our counselors can teach classes and be available for one-on-one counseling or to answer general questions. We tailor our visit to your unit specific needs.
