Members get relocation help before PCS move

The housing early assistance tool is new and was created for service members to use before they PCS.

This web-based tool will allow military members and their families the ability to connect with the housing management office to get information about housing options at the new duty location.

HEAT can be accessed via a link on www.HOMES.mil and/or the Air Force Housing Public Website http://www.housing.af.mil.

HEAT provides for an easy online experience to connect members with their future destination and offers a way to obtain housing assistance prior to a PCS. It allows members to request housing information for on-base government housing, community housing and privatized housing.

Servicemembers and their families are highly encouraged to use HEAT when preparing for a PCS.

For more information, call the Housing Management office.
