The 95th Air Base Wing will host a Caring For People Forum consisting of several focus groups April 5. This year’s forum will be 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Chapel 2.

The Caring for People Forum was established in 2009 by the Air Force as a means for an installation commander to receive community feedback for review, action and resolution.

The forum will allow Airmen, family members, retirees, and DOD civilians to voice their concerns, develop recommendations and forward suggestions on policy and/or support service to senior leaders.

The objective is to have representation from the entirety of the Edwards AFB Community: male/females, officer/enlisted, single/married, active duty/DOD civilians, spouses, with/without children.

Volunteers will be selected to help us in the following focus groups:

Family Support

Health and Wellness

Housing Support

Deployment Support

Spouse Communication

Single Airmen Support

School Support

Special Needs Family Support

If you would like to participate in this year’s CfP Forum please contact Angelia Revada at angelia.revada@edwards.af.mil and Senior Airman Cole Cargill at cole.cargill@edwards.af.mil.

DOD civilians who attend are not to be charged leave. If they are otherwise in a duty status, they will remain so during this event. Employees must obtain supervisory approval to attend, which will be based on mission needs.

For more information, contact Kimberly Shirley at kimberly.shirley@edwards.af.mil or call (661) 277-7272.
