As a rule, the person seeking legal advice from the Base Legal Office must be present. Legal assistance attorneys cannot provide advice to a person who is actually seeking advice for somebody else.
Providing assistance to individual members, their families, and retirees is a high priority; however, “the Air Force,” as a government entity, is the Base Legal Office’s primary client. As a result, Legal Assistance cannot provide advice if your issue pertains to a legal claim you may have against the Air Force. Finally, Legal Assistance cannot provide criminal law advice, or advice related to your personal commercial enterprises.
For matters relating to criminal issues, contact the Area Defense Counsel’s Office at (661) 277-2809.
