Staff Sgt. David Watters, 412th Operations Support Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape specialist and Initial Survival Training instructor, was one of the many Team Edwards bowlers who took part in the Staff Sgt. Jesse Childress Memorial Fundraiser at the Base Bowling Center Aug. 2. Childress was a Cyber Systems Operation technician with the Air Force Reserve assigned to the 310th Force Support Squadron on active duty orders and one of the July 20 Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting victims. At the request of the Childress family, proceeds from the fundraiser will go to youth programs at Buckley Air Force Base, which is in Aurora.
