Golf tournament

The 412th Communications Squadron Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 12 at Muroc Lake Golf Course. Cost is $50 per player. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. There’s room for 100 golfers – 25 teams.
Enjoy a complete program of special events, 18 holes of golf (includes cart), grab bags for each player, awards presentation, and prizes.
Each paid player gets:

  •  Two longest drive contests
  • Closest to the pin challenge
  • Mulligans and String available for purchase
  • Hole-in-One contests

    I just run across a copy of the wings (year “1967”). So here I am. Station at Edwards 1965-1969. Time flys ,Seems like yesterday I was playing on Edwards basketball and golf base team..Also Drill team 2 years. I loved the travel time all over the U.S…. T.D.Y. basketball , golf and drill team….After the four years at Edwards back to school, 4 years College, Lockheed (shunk works) Palmdale 10 years, 28 years Colgate Company. Last 12 years work with Fuzzy Zoeller, PGA golf pro. When I played golf at Edwards, golf was 50 cents all day. Why aren’t we paying the same today??…lol…Everyone have a great day….Earnest R.
