Cerro Coso Community College

Cerro Coso Community College is currently announcing the eight-week course “Elements of Speech” beginning Oct. 15 to Dec. 6 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The course will be held in the on-base classroom “D” at the base Education and Training Complex, 140 Methusa Ave.
The course is a general education course which can be applied towards education credit for the Community College of the Air Force degree.

2012 AFMC Civilian Workforce Influenza Campaign

Edwards Air Force Base annual FREE influenza vaccination for Appropriated
Funds civilian employees kicked off Oct. 3. The supply of the flu vaccine
for government employees is limited and will be given on a walk-in, first
come, first serve basis. Dates and locations and locations are:

Oct. 10: Cactus CafÈ (Subway), 7-11 a.m.
Oct. 16: AFRL, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Oct. 26: 412th Medical Group, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Immunizations for Tricare beneficiaries, retirees

Flu vaccine will be available for Tri-care beneficiaries and Retirees beginning Oct. 1 at the Immunizations Clinic located in the Main Clinic in Bldg. 5525.
Hours of operation are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Closed for lunch: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12 p.m. to
12:30 p.m.
