Command language program, language professional of year submission call

This is a general call to those units with registered Command Language Programs.

CPL managers can assist in collecting data to support unit nominations for the Command Language Program of the Year and for the Individual Language Professional of the Year.

The CLP is designed to increase the proficiency of language professionals in performance of Air Force mission duties. The CLPoY competition seeks to recognize the Air Force unit with the best CLP for the year.

The LOPY competition is an annual program designed to identify and recognize the military language professional’s role in supporting the warfighter/DOD efforts.

Both Air Force winning packages will be forwarded on to the DOD-level competition.

Nomination package(s) must be submitted by Nov. 13, 2012

For more information, contact Beth Hodge at the 412th Force Support Squadron Action Officer at Elizabeth.hodge@edwards.af.mil or (661) 277-6072.
