Museum closure

 

The 412th Test Wing Museum will be closed this weekend, Nov. 3, while curator staff research potential new display aircraft and components. The museum will re-open for normal business on Nov. 6.

Third quarter awards

 

The 412th Test Wing Third Quarter Award Ceremony will be 10 a.m., Nov. 8 in the Base Theater. This ceremony is dedicated to highlighting career and quarterly accomplishments of the men and women of the 412th Test Wing so please help us recognize our award nominees and winners with your unit flags, bullhorns, chants and noise makers.

A show of unit spirit and friendly rivalry is encouraged as we recognize 412th’s top performers with this quarter’s “Football” themed ceremony.

 

Commissary hours

 

The Edwards AFB Commissary will be open Veteran’s Day noon to 6 p.m.

 

Webster University

 

Webster University is offering a new Bachelor of Arts in Management – Spring 2013. Webster University would like to invite you to come and learn about their new Bachelor of Arts in Management program starting spring 2013. Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Webster Univ. will be holding a chili cook off so drop by the Education and Training Complex in Bldg. 2453 to have lunch and learn about the new B.A. of Management degree.

Free concert

 

The Veterans Administration of Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System and Greater Los Angeles Fisher House Foundation are hosting a free concert for veterans, military members and families featuring musical legend America at 5 p.m., Nov. 10 at the Wadsworth Theatre.

Veterans and their families can also enjoy a free barbecue prior to the concert from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Rose Garden. Both events take place at the West Los Angeles Medical Center Nov. 10 in honor of Veterans Day Weekend.
