‘Turkey Perfection’ helps commissary customers save on Thanksgiving

The second annual “Turkey Perfection” promotion, which ends Nov. 28, allows stateside customers, including Alaska and Hawaii, to receive a 32-page coupon booklet valued at more than $40.

When customers purchase an item using a coupon from the booklet, they receive cash off the purchase of any whole fresh or frozen turkey. There is a limit of one coupon booklet per customer for this special offer, and patrons must purchase the quantities stated on the coupons.

Supplies of both the booklets are limited.

Commissary Gift Cards are convenient way to give ‘gift of groceries’

As the holidays approach, a Commissary Gift Card can be an easy option for anyone to extend the gift of groceries to service members and their families, said the director of the Defense Commissary Agency.

“Whether it’s mom and dad wanting to help out with a holiday dinner for their son or daughter stationed overseas or a military unit assisting a junior enlisted family struggling financially, the Commissary Gift Card is a quick way to extend the benefit during the holidays,” said Joseph H. Jeu. “You don’t have to be an authorized shopper to give this gift.”

Gift cards come in denominations of $25 and $50. Anyone can purchase a card through the DeCA website, http://www.commissaries.com, or in a commissary. Only authorized commissary customers, however, can use it in a commissary.

Commissary Rewards Cards now available at all commissaries

The Defense Commissary Agency is proud to announce that the Commissary Rewards Card is now available at all commissaries.
The card, a joint effort with grocery industry partners to help customers save even more on their commissary purchases, lets customers access and redeem digital coupons at any of its stores.
The cards are easy to use:

  • Customers pick up their cards in-store;
  • Visit DeCA’s website, www.commissaries.com, to complete registration and load digital coupons to their account; and
  • When the card is scanned at the register, the coupons are matched to their purchases and automatically deducted from the balance owed.

Customers can print a list of their coupons before making the trip to the commissary. New offers will typically be posted online every two to three weeks. For more information on this card, visit www.commissaries.com/faq and click “Commissary Rewards Card.” Help is also available through the customer service hotline at 855-829-6219 or through email at commissarysupport@inmar.com.
