Members of the Global Reach Airdrop Team of the 418th Flight Test Squadron pose for a photo at the Base Theater during the 412th Test Wing 3rd Quarter Awards Ceremony Nov. 8. They won the Team Catergory of this past quarter's recognition. Awards were handed out in 15 categories.

Team Edwards gathered to celebrate the many accomplishments of third quarter award winners at the base theater Nov. 8, where Brig. Gen. Michael T. Brewer, 412th Test Wing commander presented awards in 15 categories during the football-themed ceremony.

Recognized for their outstanding performance throughout the quarter, award winners were selected from more than 9,000 personnel who work for the 412th TW. Brewer reminded attendees what an extraordinary accomplishment it is to be nominated at the wing level.
“This is a particularly remarkable achievement when you compete at the wing level, with more than 9,000 people. To win a quarterly award with that size of a group and to even be nominated is a remarkable achievement,” Brewer said.

Brewer congratulated both award winners and those nominated at the wing level, and reminded everyone flight test is a team sport that requires the collaborate efforts of everyone, including the Wing Staff Agencies, Test Management Group, Medical Group, Mission Support Group and others to make it all possible.

“Congratulations to the nominees and award winners; you certainly got here through your efforts as well as those sitting around you, because this truly is a team sport. You look at how successful we are in accomplishing the mission and it happens because we all work together,” said Brewer.
