Volunteer groups raise funds while helping troops wrap up the perfect present

Community groups can raise funds while spreading holiday cheer as the Edwards AFB Exchange is actively soliciting partners for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s annual community gift wrap program.

“In order to make the holidays a little easier, the Exchange partners with local groups to ensure gifts can be wrapped up before they even leave the store,” said Edwards AFB Exchange’s General Manager Mike Wiles. “Beyond offering a one-stop solution for busy military shoppers, this effort also helps raise money for local military support initiatives.”

During peak holiday seasons, the Exchange sets up tables and provides supplies that community volunteer groups can use to wrap gifts in exchange for donations. Interested organizations can contact the Edwards AFB Exchange for information on scheduling a time to participate by calling (661) 258-1078.
