Attention Desert Junior Senior High School students

The deadline to apply for the The Clay Lacy Scholarship Program and the Charles “Pete” Conrad, Jr., Scholarship Program is May 25.

The scholarships are $5,000 and $2,000 respectively, and will be presented to the most qualified applicants.

The award may be used for payment of tuition, books, fees, pilot ground and flight training, and other educational expenses. The awards will be sent directly to the recipient’s choice of educational institution community college, four-year college, university, technical school, etc. Both scholarships are sponsored by the Flight Path Learning Center of Southern California. Scholarship recipients from previous years are eligible to reapply.

Both Scholarships are presented to students who are interested in careers in aviation.
