A July 4th message from 412th CC

CC-editTeam,

This coming Thursday we celebrate the birth of our great nation and its declared independence.

The Fourth of July is a time to be with family and friends, but also serves as a reminder of what our Founding Fathers and members of our armed forces have fought for. From the American Revolution to present day, we continue to protect America’s freedom.

I thank all of you – Airman, civilian and contractor. Your hard work and commitment to providing the most advanced and superior air power to the warfighter makes us the greatest air force in the world. You are the greatest asset the Air Force has.

Please have a great and safe Independence Day weekend and I’ll see you all at the Freedom Fest!

This is understandable. These crimes against service members are intensely personal. Also, as many survivors have learned, listeners don’t...

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

- What do you think about church?  Unfortunately many people remember being judged or treated poorly when they attended.  Of course that is the opposite of what church should be.  One person said it this way, what we “need from the Church is a place that not only celebrates our triumphs but also-actually, more importantly-comes...

Arrive alive!

I have a confession to make. Please don’t judge me. I love Airman Leadership School. I love sitting on the First Sergeants Panel, I love going to the mixer. I love the volleyball game (especially when we win!) and I lo...

Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community – Can you guess who said the following?  “In my soul, I feel just the terrible pain of loss, of God not wanting me, of God not being God, of God not really existing.”  This person felt God’s absence more than...
