Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

- When it’s hot outside, the TV seems like the best option.  But did you know TV programs are carefully designed to be enticing while requiring no mental exertion.  They train you to avoid hard work, and instead help you “go with the flow.”  This is great for relaxation, but not for learning the mental habits you need to live a truly satisfying life.

Through our prayers — an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community – Pray that we go against the flow and develop habits that lead to a life that nourishes our soul.
