Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community
– Yom Kippur, or literally Day of Covering, falls on Sept. 14 this year. It is a Jewish holiday also known as the Day of Atonement. Many people of Jewish faith spend the day fasting and praying, seeking forgiveness. It should also be a reminder to us faith is a solution to our guilt.
Through our prayers — an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community
