Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

- Snacks are not meals.  Snacks may see you through a hungry afternoon but it will not sustain you for days on end.  It should be obvious that humans need regular meals to stay healthy.  The same is true for reading of Scriptures.  A verse here or there may motivate you but it will not sustain your spiritual well-being.  The number one excuse for not reading consistently?  Being too busy.  Transformation will take place when you carve out the time to read the Scriptures on a consistent basis at least four days a week.

Through our prayers — an opportunity to pray for the needs of our community

- Seek God for the ability to be consistent in your reading of the Scriptures.
