Commissary Holiday Hours

The Commissary will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28. The day following, the Commissary will be open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For Christmas week, the Commissary will be open Dec. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and closed on Christmas Day.

Black History Month committee meeting

The first Black History Month Committee meeting is 10 a.m., Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. in the Justin Conference room on the second floor of Bldg. 3000. †The committee is in need of individuals who would like to participate in planning events to celebrate Black History Month in February. †Anyone is welcomed to join to share ideas and suggestions. †The POCs for this event are Senior Airman Samantha Couch at (661) 277-4611, and Airman 1st Class Aireannah Haga at (661) 277-8795.

Air Force Technical Adviser selected

An appointment ceremony for Dr. Joseph W. Nichols, new Technical Adviser for Flight Test and Evaluations, Air Force Test Center, will be 2 p.m. Nov. 15 in Club Muroc.

Corvias Fallapalooza

Corvias Military Living will be hosting their first resident activity event, Fallapalooza, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Nov. 16 at Arnold Park, Bldg. 5211. The event is free and open to all on-base residents and their families. Activities will include bouncy castles, games and activities such as pumpkin painting. There will also be sandwiches, pies, cakes and a candied apple-making station.

Retirement
