Gaining Altitude – Growth Opportunities for the Week

Through our character – an opportunity to reflect on important issues in our community

- Have you ever tried to write with your opposite hand?  It’s not easy and feels uncomfortable.  You wouldn’t think of switching unless you broke your dominant hand and then had no choice but to switch. The switch of course would be messy the first few days, but after some practice your writing would improve.  Starting a new and noble habit can feel the same way – awkward and uncomfortable.  But if we push ourselves (or are forced by unforeseen circumstances) it might lead to developing a new gift or talent.
