Technical Research Library Open House

Checkout the latest changes and offerings at the Technical Research Library during their Open House 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Dec. 12. Drop by and browse you never know what you might discover. AF seeks DOD civilian award nominations

Nominations for the 59th Annual Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award are due to the Air Force Personnel Center by Feb. 25.

The award is the highest presented to DOD career civilian employees whose careers reflect exceptional devotion to duty and significant contributions of broad scope to DOD operational efficiency, economy or other improvements.

Each major command, combatant command, field operating agency and direct reporting unit may submit one nomination in each category. Organizations and base-level personnel must contact their MAJCOM, COCOM, FOA, or DRU for applicable suspense dates and nomination procedures.

Holiday Fun Run/Walk

The Edwards Health and Wellness Center is hosting its Holiday Health Fun Run/Walk event Dec. 11. Due to popular demand, there will be three distances: 5K, 7.5K and 10K. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Rosburg Fitness Center parking lot. It is FREE and open to runners and walkers of all levels.†Signup is morning of the event.
